Christmas Cookies - Step 1

Every year at Christmas time we make cookies with Auntie Erin, Auntie Molly, and Nana G....oh and sometimes Sara-Beth just happens to be driving by sees the cars and smells the cookies, so she pops in to help. This year we decided to bake the cookies the day before the decorating party. Paige and I helped Mom a lot!!

Santa Came...

Well he came to the firehouse that is!! I went with Paige and Mommy and Daddy. Auntie Erin, Uncle Jeff, Brayden and Auntie Molly came too! It was a LOT of fun.

Gingerbread Houses!

Last week we went to Nana's house to make gingerbread houses with her and Krissy! I did a great job....Paige was a little more interested in eating the candy then decorating with it. KIDS I tell you. I bet when she is 6 like me she will be much better.

 Mommy got real excited because Lincoln will finally smile for her when she has her camera...I think she went a little overboard. What do you think?

Let it Snow!

"Mom, when can we go outside???" I only had to say that 5 times this morning until we suited up and ventured outside to enjoy the SNOW!

It Smells Like Cinnamon

Four days later and it still smells like cinnamon in our house! That is because we made applesauce and cinnamon ornaments with Krissy and Lincoln the other day. We are so happy Krissy doesn't live in Arizona anymore, because we are having so much fun. Things did get a little messy though with this project, but it sure smelled good.

If you want to make your own - 1 part applesauce to 1 part cinnamon....then you will probably have to add more cinnamon until the dough forms into something that can hold it's shape. Roll, cookie cut it, and poke wholes for ribbon. Then they take a few days to dry....but like said smells YUMMY!

Lincoln isn't quite old enough to help yet, but I think he enjoyed watching our craziness.

 Of course once we were done and all cleaned up mommy couldn't resist a few extra photos of Lincoln! Good thing Uncle Rich was there to help make him smile.
